(Pantha Kal Muhurtam took place on November 2 of this year). The stone inscriptions in the temple mention that Sri Rajaraja (original name was Arul Mozhi Varman) was born in the Tamil month of Aippasi under Sadhya Nakshatra and his grand rule lasted till 1014 CE.
